It's do time.
This is not a generation to sit idly by and do nothing. People see a need. Passion becomes action. They feel compelled to something. We call these people do'ers.

You don't need an airplane ticket to find need. Need lives next door, down the street—right in your hometown. Every community, every citizen, can identify a need. Maybe passion is sparked by people, place, or pets. Maybe it's education, the environment, or the establishment. Whatever it is, doers decided to do something about it ... and that's where we come in.

Creating mo'mentum—celebrating do'ers.
One of our passions is people who "do." Who want to make a difference. We know that launching and sustaining an initiative takes a little thing we like to call mo'mentum. We want to provide a platform—a way to connect with like-minded people who believe in a cause and want to support doe'ers. We want to celebrate citizens and communities who come together. Think of it like a virtual parade where hometown heroes greet the public.

Nominate yourself or a friend.
If you or someone in your community is Doing It Locally, we want to hear about it. If your submission is chosen, we'll spotlight your initiative right here on our Do It Locally page, on our blog and through social media. We'll put our communication expertise to work for you, making it a cinch for you to share what you're doing with the world.

Are you a do'er? Then what are you waiting for? Let's create some buzz.

SUPPORT A PROJECT, SHARE A STORY.

Three simple steps:
1. Fill out our nomination form.
2. Create Mo'mentum — Invite others to nominate themselves to spread the word (p.s. this isn't a competition...mo'submissions = mo'audience).
3. Get free stuff (not quite swag, but swaggish ... a wearable way to show your community spirit).

Ready? Set... Do!

I'm Doing It Locally! I'm ready to nominate my cause and spread the word.

I know someone who is Doing It Locally! I want to nominate someone and help spread the word.
