CivicPlus Awarded 15 New Contracts to Design Government Websites

Cities & Counties Across the U.S. & Canada Select CivicPlus to Increase Online Community Engagement

MANHATTAN, KS – (July 20, 2011) CivicPlus, the national leader in open government technology, was awarded 15 new contracts in the past two weeks with city and county officials from central New Mexico to Alberta, Canada who seek increased citizen engagement, government accountability and operational efficiencies.

The company has been engaged to develop and design new websites for Marysville, OH; Kennedale, TX and Murphy, TX; Hillsborough County, FL; Oak Grove, MO; Story County, IA; Davie County, NC; Perkins, OK; Cranberry Township, PA and the Cranberry Township Business Hub. In Canada, CivicPlus also has been awarded a contract to design the website for the City of Lloydminster, Alberta/Saskatchewan. The Maryland Association of Counties and the Municipal Management Association of Southern California also have chosen CivicPlus to help them communicate more effectively with constituents. In addition, Los Lunas, NM and State College, PA selected CivicPlus to redesign and refresh the look of their existing websites.

CivicPlus has designed nearly 900 local government websites serving more than 29.6 million citizens throughout North America. In the last three months a total of 21 national, international and statewide awards have been presented to CivicPlus clients for website design and features. The company is a certified GSA Schedule contract holder for the U.S. Federal Government as an Information Technology Service provider (SIN 132-51) under the IT Schedule 70. CivicPlus also holds statewide master contracts for web hosting and development services with the Kansas Department of Administration and the Texas Department of Information Resources.
