West Chester Visits

MANHATTAN, KS – (October 21, 2014) CivicPlus, a leading provider of digital engagement and efficiency solutions for local government, is celebrating the success of West Chester, Pa.’s new municipal website. The site went live on Aug. 6, 2014, and soon began drawing increased traffic, with average daily visits doubling the previous average, and several days seeing more than four times the previous average.

Prior to launching the new website, West Chester Borough recorded an average of 11,139 site visits each month. After launch, their CivicPlus-powered website drew 26,717 visits in a single month – an increase of nearly 140 percent.

West Chester’s Chief Information Officer, William Mann, said the community response
to the new website has been highly favorable. “It has never been easier for those who care about something happening in West Chester to find the information that they need. It is also possible now for staff to manage, update, and design our webpage, the way that we want to – and on our time table.”

The CivicPlus Guarantee
The West Chester website success is a shining example of the CivicPlus Guarantee in action. The money-back guarantee promises that a CivicPlus website will increase citizen participation by 50 percent. CivicPlus CMO, Mike Honeywell, believes this is the first of many guarantee success stories to come. “We wouldn’t offer a guarantee if we didn’t stand behind what we do. It’s so important to us that our clients see us as a trusted partner – a partner that promises real results.”
