On Monday, Douglas County launched its new website at www.douglascountynv.gov. The new site reflects the personality of Douglas County while incorporating a number of new and improved tools designed to help residents and visitors quickly locate the information and services they need. The new website also integrates eight previously separate websites into one consistent and easily navigable site for residents, businesses and visitors.
The homepage is easy to navigate and breaks down information for residents, businesses and visitors. The new search feature directs people to specific information while interactive online forms allow citizens to complete County business without ever leaving home. Reporting a concern or requesting information from the County will be easier than ever. Visitors will soon be able to simply click the Report a Concern button at the bottom of every page to access an online submissions form to report road repair issues or code violations.
“We are excited about the enhancements to public services, information and ease of navigation that the new website provides our customers,” said County Manager Steve Mokrohisky. “Our new website is consistent with our continued efforts to provide the best access, responsiveness and quality customer service to residents, businesses and visitors.”
