In 2008, CivicPlus took action to guarantee the energy that powers our hundreds of websites is offset by investing in clean, renewable energy. Our purchase of BEF Carbon Offsets from the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) supports renewable energy generation efforts that offset the effects of burning fossil fuels.

Current efforts among our work peers include paper and aluminum recycling as well as walking or biking to work on a regular basis. Conscientious participation in community efforts is a pragmatic approach to solving our nation’s energy challenges, and CivicPlus is proud to be part of that effort.
