CivicPlus Director of Professional Services Among 50 Kansans You Should Know

Katrina Lewison, CivicPlus Director of Professional Services, has been recognized by Ingram’s magazine among the 50 Kansans You Should Know in 2019. The feature honors high-achieving Kansans who are reputable business leaders and citizens. Those recognized not only possess character and integrity, but they maintain unique interests beyond their business responsibilities.

Professional Photo_Katrina 2015As the Director of Professional Services, Katrina focuses on ensuring CivicPlus clients are confident and comfortable fully leveraging CivicPlus’ integrated solution suite. She applies her expertise in local government project management, ideation and innovation, process management, citizen engagement, and managed services to her role, helping communities across the nation utilize digital communication platforms to engage citizens. She has over 20 years of experience leading and facilitating groups, which she now applies in the local government space.

In 2018, Katrina ran for Lieutenant Governor of Kansas.  During the general election she chaired an initiative called “Lead Kansas,” which encouraged women to get informed, involved, and to take action by voting. Post-election, she served on the Governor’s transition team for technology, which reviewed and made recommendations for technology for the state of Kansas. In addition to her role at CivicPlus, Katrina is currently serving on the Board of Education for the Manhattan-Ogden Unified School District and the Governor’s Military Council.

Katrina holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Relations from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Psychology and Leadership from Teacher’s College at Columbia University, and a Master of Science Degree in Public Policy Administration from University of Missouri-St Louis. She served in the United States Army for 15 years.
