Regroup Mass Notification, the CivicPlus® technology partner that powers our CivicReady® mass notification system, announced its official recognition as a Weather-Ready Nation (WRN) Ambassador by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Regroup became a NOAA partner after demonstrating continued commitment to strengthening national extreme-weather resilience.

The Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador initiative recognizes NOAA partners who are improving the nation’s readiness, responsiveness, and overall resilience against extreme weather, water, and climate events. As a WRN Ambassador, Regroup is committed to working with NOAA and other ambassadors to strengthen national resilience against extreme weather throughout the United States. According to NOAA: “WRN Ambassadors serve a pivotal role in affecting societal change — helping to build a nation that is ready, responsive, and resilient to the impacts of extreme weather and water events.”

CivicReady, powered by Regroup, is a mass notification system designed for local governments to send communications quickly, reliably, and securely. It is used daily by municipalities across the nation to enhance public safety, streamline communication, and maintain operational continuity during various critical events, including extreme weather. Regroup is a nationally recognized mass notification platform that offers integrations with many federal programs including FEMA’s IPAWS system, ShakeAlert early earthquake warnings from the U.S. Geological Survey, and weather alerts from NOAA and the National Weather Service to support an informed and weather-ready nation.

“CivicPlus is committed to partnering with fellow leaders in the technology solution space,” said Ryan Strait, CivicPlus Director of Platform Technology. “We chose Regroup as our partner for our mass notification solution because of its relentless commitment to constant enhancements and to maintaining its position as a public safety solution leader. We are pleased to see that NOAA is recognizing Regroup as a Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador and are delighted to continue offering our clients this life-saving technology."
