CivicPlus will give away up to 50 free websites to small-sized water and sewer districts. The websites will be built using CivicPlus’ proprietary, Drupal-based CivicCMS content management system (CMS).
According to CivicPlus CEO Brian Rempe, the promotion is part of CivicPlus’ commitment to helping often underserved water and sewer districts that are without readily available funds to obtain a modern, easy-to-manage website.
“We designed CivicCMS to be an ideal website solution for smaller municipalities and special districts that may not have robust website design and maintenance capabilities in-house,” said Rempe. “We are running this limited-time promotion to help as many water and sewer districts as we can to improve their online presence.”
The contest is open to water and sewer districts with less than 10,000 water and/or sewer connections across the United States, with the exception of those located in New York, Florida, and Rhode Island. Winners will be drawn at random from a pool of entrants. Winners can choose from one of CivicCMS’ “Best Practices” designs, which are optimized for mobile devices.
“We are excited and fortunate to be able to give away fifty easy-to-update and beautifully designed websites,” said Rempe. “This promotion not only helps us to give back to the community, but it also inspires our staff to support the people who support our communities.”
All winners will receive the following at no cost:
- Complete new template design based on one of these examples:
- Content development, including up to 50 new pages/files
- Unlimited user licensing of our content management software
- Staff training
- Eighteen months of secure hosting, customer support, and ongoing maintenance
