MANHATTAN, KS – March 2, 2020 – On Friday, February 28, CivicPlus, the nation’s leader in integrated technology solutions for local government, was presented with a Silver Stevie® Award in the Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year - Technology Industries category in the 14th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. CivicPlus was also awarded a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Customer Service Training or Coaching Program of the Year - Technology Industries category. This is the second consecutive year that CivicPlus’ Technical Support Team has earned Stevie honors.
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top honors for customer service, contact center, business development, and sales professionals. The Stevie Awards organizes eight of the world’s leading business awards programs, also including the prestigious American Business Awards® and International Business Awards®. More than 2,600 nominations from organizations in 48 nations of all sizes and virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition. Winners were determined by the average scores of more than 180 professionals worldwide on seven specialized judging committees.
The CivicPlus Technical Support Team’s submission documented several monumental achievements. Such accomplishments included the completion of over 753 team learning and development hours, an annual 96 percent customer satisfaction score, the creation of an online support system and a one-stop service approach, and an omnichannel email and chat support offering that increased overall customer satisfaction as shown by an increase in all tracked service metrics.
The judges' comments in response to CivicPlus’ submission included the following praise:
- “Delivers superlative overall experience through technologically advanced solutions.”
- “Delivers professional customer service based on responsiveness and efficiency.”
- “Demonstrated a great understanding of their market and their market's challenges. They implemented a number of solutions to benefit their customers, which they measured and proved very successfully. They went further by initiating an intensive staff training program to support their new solutions. The evidence provided demonstrates that CivicPlus is committed to customer excellence, and the results prove this.”
- “One of the most critical components in Customer Service is providing timely feedback on customers' inquiries, and Civic Plus Technical Support has achieved this with their exceptional response time in their live chats.”

Our technical support engineers are proud to serve as trusted resources for the local government leaders who work tirelessly to make a difference in our communities.”
Critical to CivicPlus Technical Support’s recognition as a Bronze Stevie® winner in the category of Service Training or Coaching Program of the Year, was CivicPlus’ corporate commitment to learning and development, an initiative led by CivicPlus Learning & Development Manager, Jessica Jones.
“At CivicPlus, continuous learning is a critical part of our success,” said Jones. “All our teams make time to expand their skills through both individual learning and in-house training events. For our client-facing teams, it’s particularly important that they keep their knowledge and skills up-to-date to provide timely and effective service to our clients.”
