Tassy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 1994, and spent time studying at both the University of Reading in Reading, England, and Oxford University, Oxford, England. Joining the company in 1997, Tassy served as a legal editor for twenty years and has extensive experience in the codification industry serving municipal and county governments.

Julie E. Lovelace, Esq., Director, Code. B.A., University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill; J.D., Samford University Cumberland School of Law; 32 years of experience in local government law (11 years as Senior Assistant County Attorney for Leon County, Florida, 14 years in private practice); member of the Florida Bar. Also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. She has overall supervision of the legal work of all code projects and ensures that the final product is up to Municode’s demanding standards.
