CivicPlus®, a leader in integrated public sector technology, has named Brian Gilday as its Vice President of Market Expansion. The new role was established as part of CivicPlus’ focused commitment to ensuring its software solutions scale broadly to meet the needs of the public sector. Gilday, who formerly held the position of Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Community Development, 311 CRM, and Mass Notification software solutions, brings entrepreneurship and government technology innovation and leadership to his new position.

“As we scale our technology to ensure our systems meet the needs of every local government entity, we want to ensure one of our brightest, most experienced, and innovative minds is leading our go-to-market strategy,” said Tiffany Williamson, CivicPlus’ Senior Vice President of Product. “Brian has launched companies, grown solution categories, and has an unparalleled commitment and passion for community and our mission to help make government work better. There is no better leader at CivicPlus to ensure our solutions are making the greatest impact in solving digital transformation challenges in the public sector than Brian.”

Gilday is the former Founder and President of Fenway Technology Group and the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aha Consulting Inc., which merged with Municode in 2016. He then served as the President of Municode’s Website and Agenda and Meeting software divisions before CivicPlus acquired Municode in 2021. He cites CivicPlus’ customer-driven approach to software innovation as the most significant force behind CivicPlus’ market expansion goals.

“What I love about our product strategy philosophy is our fluidity and ability to react to the needs of local governments and special districts rapidly as their residents’ expectations and legislative priorities shift and evolve,” said Gilday. “I have a tremendous team by my side and could not be more excited about the opportunities we have to solve resident engagement and digital self-service challenges for public entities of all sizes, resources, and technological needs.”

Brian is a former US Naval Officer and graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He earned his Master of Science degree from Boston University.
