Keizer, Oregon, Unveils Redesigned CivicPlus Website to Streamline Services and Strengthen Community Connection
Transformed city website showcases the community’s top priorities through resident-first design
MANHATTAN, KS — January 29, 2026 — CivicPlus®, a public sector SaaS leader, partnered with the City of Keizer, Oregon, to launch a redesigned City website to align with resident feedback around the need for streamlined communication. Affirming its commitment to community-centric services, the City created a central hub for real-time City news, upcoming community events, and a direct path to City resources.
Keizer conducted a series of surveys with residents and staff to identify the most pressing needs for its website transformation. The results made clear that all residents valued a community-centric website that featured upcoming events, news alerts, and simplified navigation to City resources. To meet these needs, the City partnered with CivicPlus to integrate Agenda and Meeting Management, Municipal Websites, and Municode Codification.
Key features of the redesign include:
- Unified meetings & agendas in one view: The website now highlights all citywide events from community-organized to board meetings in one central location – ensuring that residents can see all agendas, community news and events, and important reminders.
- Plain-language, task-based navigation: By utilizing accessible, easy to navigate templates, Keizer was able to reduce its click depth when residents visited the site for common resources, tasks, or questions.
- Direct path to City ordinances: Topic pages link straight to the City’s code for faster and transparent searches.
- Smarter communication with residents: With AI-assisted search, accessibility-first design, and opt-in email or SMS subscriptions, residents can easily and quickly get answers and alerts to City news.
“The new system has been super-efficient for staff to manage content, and we have received positive feedback from residents,” said Keizer Deputy City Recorder Dawn Wilson. “The integrated calendars and agenda tools work together beautifully and seamlessly.”
“Keizer’s redesign shows what happens when a City listens to its community and aligns modern tools around residents’ needs,” said CivicPlus Vice President of Product Management Taylor Willardson. “By unifying its digital services, Keizer is setting a standard for accessible, connected local government.”
