Mono County, California takes pride in its online presence. With an award-winning tourist website and a highly rated and active social media presence for its Sheriff’s Department, Mono County needed a municipal website that could match such standards.
CivicPlus acquired Municode in 2021. Today, Municode's Drupal-based open-source municipal content management system (CMS) is part of the CivicPlus Civic Experience Platform.
The County wanted a mobile-friendly that could showcase new content to residents regularly. To achieve this goal, the CivicPlus website designers utilized a three-clicks-or-less philosophy to make information clearly structured and organized. Not only did the Mono County, California website live up to Mono County’s standard, but it also won two awards:
