CivicPlus® Welcomes Steve Gilbert as Vice President of Marketing
CivicPlus®, a leader in integrated public sector technology, is pleased to announce that it has hired Steve Gilbert as Vice President of Marketing. In his role, Gilbert will lead the company’s product marketing, solution messaging, and retention marketing strategies, leading a team of seasoned marketing managers.
Gilbert brings to CivicPlus over 15 years of experience directing strategic programs that have elevated technology companies’ brand recognition and revenue growth. His previous roles include head of marketing at Spiceworks Ziff Davis, head of brand and growth marketing at SHI International, head of B2B and education marketing at Logitech, and head of commercial marketing at Lenovo.
According to Emily Harnish, CivicPlus’s Chief Marketing Officer, Gilbert’s addition will strengthen the Marketing team’s expertise in the B2B technology space.
“Steve brings valuable experience growing global brands through the consistent, impactful, data-driven messaging strategy,” Harnish said. “His previous work with industry-leading brands has taught him how to capture and accelerate the momentum of rapidly growing entities, and his passion for the unique needs of B2B buyers gives him critical insights into the needs of our government entity customers.”

Gilbert earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. He resides in Austin, Texas, with his family.
