Chris Astrella, MPA, B.S., WCPC is a former municipal Clerk/Treasurer/Administrator with nearly two decades of experience serving Wisconsin communities. He is a Past President of the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association and a recognized subject matter expert in digital government, cybersecurity, and modernizing municipal operations by incorporating AI. Chris brings deep insight into the challenges and opportunities Clerks, Treasurers and Administrators face in an evolving public service landscape. Known for his engaging and practical presentations, Chris shares his expertise as the President/CEO of Government Guru Professional Speaking and Consulting, an international speaker and as a college professor for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (’21 & ’03) and Rochester Christian University in Michigan. Chris currently lives in Las Vegas with his wife Dr. Julie and their dog Thumper; enjoying mild winters and continuing his mission to support governments across the world.
