About the Speakers:

Eric Grant

Vice President and General Manager

CivicPlus Vice President and General Manager Eric Grant works with our Agenda and Meeting Management, Municode Codification, and Social Media Archiving solutions. Eric helps CivicPlus fulfill our mission of making government work better by collaborating with our product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure our solutions are meeting the needs of local governments. Prior to joining CivicPlus, Eric served as the President and CEO of Municipal Code Corporation. Eric also served as a United States Marine in the First Tank Battalion in 29 Palms, California. Eric and his family live in Tallahassee, Florida.

Bob graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he served as Honor and Ethic Chairman; and then completed his education at Boston University, earning a Masters in Business Administration. Bob went on to serve as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps; Operations Officer for Descente Ski Wear in the U.S. and Canada, where he worked to optimize the industry’s online sales strategy to support specialty retailers; and Entrepreneur, building an hydration and filtration company that served outdoor sports athletes and U.S. military personnel. Bob then became the Vice President of Sales for Municode Corporation, and is now in charge of small government market sales as Regional Sales Director for CivicPlus.

Strategic Account Executive

CivicPlus Strategic Account Executive Shaun Jernigan works with our record request management solution, NextRequest, and our social media archiving tool, Social Media Archiving. He has over six years of experience supporting agencies with various compliance issues, from understanding social media risk and compliance requirements, to helping them evaluate and improve their approach to records request management. Before joining CivicPlus, Shaun spent five years teaching English abroad. He is currently living in Durham, North Carolina, where he studied  business at North Carolina State University.
