Trish Robertson

Supervisor of Elections and Public Relations Officer for Collier County, Florida

Trish Robertson has lived in Southwest Florida since 2005. She has worked in the communications and public relations field in both the private and public sector. As the public relations officer, Robertson maintains a working knowledge of federal and state election laws and researches and recommends solutions to legislative changes that affect the Supervisor of Elections office. She leads a team in the Election Services Department, which includes outreach, communications, election worker training and operations.

Robertson is a proud member of the Florida Gulf Coast University alumni where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree cum laude in communication with a concentration in public relations. She is a past president of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association and earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2017 and received her designation as a Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC) in 2018. Robertson also received her Master Florida Certified Elections Professional (MFCEP) credential in 2015 from the Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE) and is a Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA) through the National Association of Election Officials. Robertson is a graduate of the Associate Leadership Collier program class of 2014 and Leadership Collier class of 2020. She is also a mentor through the Take Stock in Children program with Champions for Learning and enjoys leveraging her public relations skills to help local nonprofits and charitable causes.

Rachelle Cantero

Solutions Engineer II, Former Clerk

Rachelle Cantero is a solutions engineer at CivicPlus, focusing on our Agenda and Meeting Management software. Before coming to work in the private sector, she spent 17 years in government at the state, county, and municipal levels, holding positions in community relations, child support enforcement, and as a misdemeanor/juvenile coordinator for the victim witness division. Rachelle spent the last decade at the Town of Normal, Illinois, as the Deputy Clerk, an Engineering OA, and a Communications Specialist. In addition, she studied International Business at Illinois State University.

Stephen French

Solutions Engineer II, Former Clerk

Stephen M. French is a solutions engineer at CivicPlus, focusing on our Agenda and Meeting Management software. Before coming to CivicPlus, he spent nearly 25 years as a municipal clerk in Michigan and Ohio and has served on the board of both state’s Clerks Associations Stephen has attained the designation of Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) and received a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Dayton.
