Sherrie brings decades of experience in media relations — both as a journalist and communicator — to her leadership role at Stafford County Public Schools in Virginia, where she serves as both Director of Strategic Communication and FOIA Officer. The two-time Emmy award winner holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
