Did you know? Inaccessible websites make it difficult for residents with disabilities to find what they’re looking for, creating barriers to vital services and information. Poor web accessibility also results in legal repercussions and reputational damage for agencies. In 2020, over 2,500 Americans filed website accessibility lawsuits in federal courts — a 12% increase from 2019.

Fostering an inclusive community for residents living with disabilities is about more than modifying physical public spaces. Local governments must provide accessible experiences for all residents in digital spaces as well. To do this effectively, agencies need to prioritize changes that make it easy for every resident to engage with their content online.

This on-demand webinar shares how agencies can use web accessibility tools and best practices to:

  • Improve resident satisfaction
  • Stay compliant with accessibility regulations
  • Build a positive brand image around inclusivity
