How can I be sure that my job offer is not fraudulent?
All official communication will be from the CivicPlus.com domain. We always interview over video (Zoom or Teams) or in person, never through text messages.
If you believe you are experiencing fraudulent activity, contact recruiting@civicplus.com to contact one of our Talent Acquisition team members.
What are the next steps in the hiring process?
Once you apply online, our recruiter will review your resume. If your experience aligns with the role, we will schedule a call to learn more about you, your skills, and your abilities. Following the call, we will review your notes with the hiring manager. If you are selected for the interview, we will be in touch. We will have you complete a project, which you will present during the interview. Once your interview is complete, we will check your references and decide on your application. If we decide to invite you to join our team, we will call you to extend an offer. We will notify you otherwise if we will not be making an offer of employment.
When are you looking to fill this position?
At CivicPlus, we only post positions that we are ready to fill. We also want to ensure that every hire represents the best fit for both CivicPlus and the candidate, so we thoroughly review all applicants. Once we find the perfect candidate, we are prepared to move forward to the next steps in the hiring process. While there is no specific timeline to fill a role, we work to keep all candidates informed of their status throughout the process.
What kind of advancement opportunities are available within CivicPlus?
We value employee growth and development. We encourage employees to discuss their goals with their managers. Our managers are trained to help their staff achieve their career goals through such development strategies as job shadowing, mentorship, and additional training.

Does CivicPlus require a pre-employment background check?
Yes. Upon receiving an employment offer, candidates must complete a pre-employment background check. An offer of employment is contingent upon this post-offer screening process. A licensed independent administrator will conduct all background screens per state law.
