Revamped city website strengthens resident usability and engagement
MANHATTAN, KS – December 16, 2025— CivicPlus®, a public sector SaaS leader, partnered with Fredericksburg, Texas, to launch its newly redesigned website, enhancing resident engagement, streamlining end-to-end communication, and expanding digital services. The redesign introduces several key enhancements:
- Simplified, streamlined navigation: By utilizing templates and a prominent “Contact Us” path, the City standardized page layouts, menus, and functional website tabs across departments to create a unified experience for residents.
- Organized high-traffic services: Through department microsites for parks and recreation, police and emergency response, and other critical resources, local government staff can better manage and consolidate dedicated services for more efficient communication for those visiting the site.
- Consolidated resource hub: With the help of the CivicPlus Agenda and Meeting Management Select and Mass Notification tools, residents can find agendas and stream meetings all in one centralized location while receiving real-time notifications.
- 24/7 self-service answers: Through an AI-powered chatbot, residents can receive quick answers, even outside business hours, without needing to call or go in-person for information.
